I’ve never been one to own a lot of jewelry. I mostly stick to the same pair of earrings or a necklace and wear it until it pretty much falls apart. However, I recently got a second piercing in my ears on a whim (totally unlike me, I might add), and my interest in jewelry has majorly sparked. Only two more weeks until I can change them, and I’ve been dreaming up all the earring combinations I want to wear. It’s made me realize how little everyday jewelry I actually have, and that I have a couple go-to pieces I really cherish. Today, I wanted to share some of those everyday favorites in my small jewelry collection that I pretty much wear on a daily basis.
Gold Hoop Earrings

These are my most recent purchase and I’m loving hoops right now. They’re the perfect mix of being more than just a stud, but not as annoying and heavy or over-the-top as some dangle earrings can be. These came in a set of two, but I prefer how the smaller size looks on me personally, even though the larger diameter version is just as cute. And I just think they look so classy and “grown up”, too. Plus, the clasp on these is easy and actually “clicks” closed and secure as I recently discovered that an easy-to-close hoop earring is kinda difficult to find.
Sideways Cross Necklace

This is by far my most worn and favorite piece of jewelry. I actually wear this one everyday and never take it off. I’ve had it for about a year now, and it’s lasted so well. It’s the perfect length and the chain is the perfect dainty size, so it can be worn on it’s own or paired with other necklaces just as easy.
Star Chain Earrings
These star earrings are the oldest piece in this bunch of favorites, and they’re still going strong. They’re so unique and, no joke, every time I wear these, I get compliments on them. They’re the perfect size and, much like hoops, they’re the perfect happy-medium between a dangle and stud style earring. Also, they’re super lightweight which is a huge plus. And I just have a thing for stars. (Totally gonna get a pair of gold moon earrings for my second hole and can’t wait to pair these together!)
Rosary Choker

I really love the look of chokers, but sometimes they can look too aggressive or intimidating. The reason I love this one so much is because it’s dainty and cute, but still visible enough to make a statement. And because it’s a rosary, it just means so much more to me. I love the layered look of pairing this with my cross necklace. The hint of gold chain peeking through compliments the gold in the necklace, making a perfect pair.
Gold Studs
If you haven’t noticed yet, I lean towards gold jewelry most of the time, and had been wanting a pair of gold studs for a while and totally scored these for 99 cents! These are simple, but such a classic. They’re easy to throw on and can really bring a look together.
