Take a peek below to see if you can find your answers here!

I’m looking for a very specific design. Can I request a custom quote?

Absolutely! All of my packages are just general guidelines. I would be happy to customize a project for you. Please fill out this form here and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Do you offer payment plans?

For the most part, yes! Most packages are split into two payments with the first half due during step one and the second half due when you’re ready to launch! The only exception is the social media package. That project’s payment is due in full up front.

What if I need my project completed ASAP?

I’ll be happy to accommodate! Depending on availability and the timeline of your project, however, there will be a 50% non-refundable rush fee.

I have another question that isn’t answered here. What do I do?

I definitely want to make sure all of our questions get answered, so if you still have questions, submit your question using the form below!

What is the Genesis Framework?

Think of Genesis as a blanket that lies on top of WordPress. The Genesis Framework comes packed with SEO, protects your site with airtight built-in security, and, most importantly, speeds up development so you can launch your new site even sooner. That’s a $60 value included in every website with unlimited support and updates! You can read more about the Genesis Framework here*.

How long will building my website take?

Depending on the website package you choose, the completion of your website can take anywhere from 4-10 weeks. We’ll discuss your specific project length before your official start date so you know exactly when you’ll launch your beautiful new site!

Will you take care of my domain name and hosting?

Sure thing! Once your website is ready to launch, we’ll set up your hosting and domain name accounts together. This way, you’re in complete control of your accounts once your project is completed. Additionally, it’s completely up to you on where to purchase your domain name and hosting, but I highly recommend Bluehost* for WordPress hosting and GoDaddy for a domain name. Bluehost even gives a free domain for the first year and SSL certificate with hosting! They both have amazing support for WordPress and some of the lowest prices I’ve ever come across.

Are my domain name and hosting included in my website package?

Although I setup domains and hosting with your web development, I do not provide those and those are not included in the price of my design services. I want you to have complete freedom in where you choose to purchase your website name and hosting. Every web design project will require a different level of hosting to keep it running smoothly. Therefore, none of my design packages* have you locked in with specific companies or hosting fees. Don’t worry though — I will definitely help you find a hosting package that suits your website best!

*Excluding singular landing pages and coming soon add-ons. These will use Bluehost as they are very inexpensive and provide a free domain name and SSL certificate for 1 year.

What if I need my hosting or domain name transferred?

I will be happy to help you. However, domain/hosting transfers are not included services in any of my packages, and these will have additional costs at my hourly rate.

Do I need to purchase hosting or a domain name before booking/starting my project?

Not at all! If you already have hosting or a domain name, that’s totally great, but it’s not necessary. Actually, sometimes it’s best to purchase those after the web development process is completed. This way you’re not paying for hosting or a domain name before your website is even launched, and we can work together to choose the best hosting package for your website once it’s complete.

What if I don’t currently use wordpress?/Do you design websites in Squarespace, Shopify, etc?

I wholeheartedly believe in WordPress and it’s what I’ve been designing with for years. It’s a completely free platform with virtually NO limits. Therefore, I only design websites built in WordPress. If you are interested in creating a new website through WordPress, I would love to work together. Get started here!

What if I need just a single page website?

I can definitely make that happen! Please fill out the form here to let me know, and I’ll get back to you with a custom quote.

What if I’m interested in the Professional package, but I want my online store to have more than 5 products?

That’s not a problem! Your online store can house as many products as you’d like. I set up 5 products as part of your package just to help you get started. As you continue to add more items to your store, you can duplicate the products I’ve set up for you to help save time!

What if I need additional edits after my website is completed?

On completion of your website, you will receive a complimentary training on how to make simple edits to your website like adding blog posts and pages, updating colors and images, and adding additional content. However, if you would like me to make these edits for you or to make more complex design changes, I’d be happy to do so! All additional edits are made at my hourly rate of $30.

How long will creating my new brand take?

Depending on the branding package you choose, the completion of your new logo and collateral can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks. We’ll discuss your specific project length before your official start date so you know exactly when you’ll receive your beautiful new design!

What is a favicon?

A favicon is a browser icon that represents your brand on every page of your website! For example, if you go to www.google.com, look at the page’s tab in your browser. See the little colorful “G” icon? That’s a favicon and you’re website could have one too!

What social media platforms can you design for?

All social media packages include graphic design for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. If you are looking for social media design for additional platforms, please let me know here.

Will you create content for me and/or post for me?

No. I do not manage social media accounts or posting, nor do I create content. However, part of my social media design process is researching your industry. From this, I will recommend the best types of posts, engaging content strategies, and the most popular times to post.

Can you create animated gifs?

I can! Animated gifs are super fun, but due to the nature of the file type, these graphics are not able to be made in a template form. However, these will count as a “template” in your package. If you would like to add an animated gif to your project, I’d be happy to do that for you.

Does this include photography?

All social media templates will use stock photos according to your industry. You are welcome to keep these, but I highly recommend you to use your own photos if available and if necessary. If you choose to use stock photos, I can recommend some great resources for free photos!

What if I am interested in SEO services, but I don’t currently use wordpress?

I whole-heartedly believe in WordPress and it’s what I’ve been designing with for years. Therefore, my SEO package is designed to optimize websites built strictly in WordPress.

What if I don’t need everything listed in the SEO package?

Although I do recommend the full SEO package for premium results, my SEO packages are customizable to your needs.

Domain Name, Hosting, and Traffic

Think of your website like a house. Hosting for your website is like the piece of land your house is built on. The more land, the more room for a bigger house and more space for your friends and family to park when they visit. Therefore, the larger amount of hosting space your website has, the better it’s able to properly handle traffic of your visitors and allow your website to grow. Now, how do your friends and family get to your house? Simple — you give them your address. This is just like the domain name to your website. It tells your visitors exactly where to go.

Branding vs. Logo

Aren’t branding and a logo the same thing? Nope! Your logo is just one symbol of your overall branding. Branding combines multiple logo variations, colors, tone of voice, font styles, and many more aspects to show your audience consistency and trust your brand as a whole.
